How do I make a purchase?
Shopping at AMOLESE is easy: Use the WEARS and ACCESSORIES links.
Once you have found an item, click on the ‘Add to Basket’ button on the product page and choose your size.
Review the items in your shopping bag by clicking the ‘View Basket’ link at the top right side of the page.
Click on ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’ to complete your order.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
You can shop at AMOLESE without creating an account. However, the following benefits are available to you if you do register with us :
- Track your orders and review past purchases
- Request a return or exchange directly from your account
- Save your address and card details so you can shop even quicker next time.
To re-set your password, click on ‘My account’ >> ‘Lost password’ and follow instructions from there.
Please note, for security reasons we are unable to send your old password via email.
What payment methods does AMOLESE accept and is it safe to use my credit card online?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and other major credit cards. You can also choose to pay with PayPal. All payments are processed through a secure checkout system provided by Stripe.
First-time orders must also be sent to the cardholder’s billing address or work address. This process is not only for your security but so we can verify your details independently. To ensure that you don’t experience any delays to your order, please make sure all your details are entered correctly.
Is my personal data safe & private?
Do you ship to Post office box (P.O.B.) numbers and freight forwarding addresses?
Currently we are unable to deliver to post office boxes. We do deliver to an address where a signature can be obtained for the receipt of your order – one address per order.
Duration of an order and delivery fee
Because ALL our products are painstakingly, lovingly and carefully hand-crafted individually by genuine artisans in Italy, Spain, Nigeria and some other parts of the world, we might require up to 10 days on some items but we do deliver in 3-6 days on most orders. Which currency do I pay in?
Currently, we accept British Pounds Sterling, Euro and American dollars only. This is initially dependent on which country you are ordering from, i.e. if you are placing your order from Germany, France or Italy, you would naturally pay in Euros and if you are ordering from England, BP Sterling.
Payment and card security
All transactions on this website are processed using Stripe, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. This service protects your existing credit or debit card account from unauthorized use when you shop with us.
Import duties and local taxes
We generally ship on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties are included in the final purchase price. Once your order arrives at its destination you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs.
Can I amend or cancel my order after I’ve placed it?
Before your purchases have been prepared for dispatch we can cancel an item, change the size or edit your billing and shipping details.
However, we are unable to combine orders or add pieces to an existing order once it has been placed.
Can I track my package?
If you have registered before placing your order, you can follow the progress of your delivery by signing into your account and selecting ‘Basket’ >> ‘Orders’.
Is my parcel insured and do I need to sign for my order?
All your orders are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from AMOLESE to the shipping address specified. Once your package has been delivered and signed for at your given address, the cover ends. To ensure that your purchases arrive safely and in perfect condition, we require proof of delivery.
Can I return or exchange a product?
You have 30 days of grace after receiving your order during which you can return it if not completely satisfied. For further info, please see our easy-peasy returns policy.
Will I get a full refund of what I paid for the item I am returning?
As a general rule, unless an item you have ordered is defective or we have sent you a wrong item, or the fault is Amolese’s and not yours, shipping costs are not refunded. You may get a full refund since all sales taxes are included in your order (i.e. if your order has been sent to a destination within the EU). Take note, though, that outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are usually non-refundable. You may however be able to recover these costs by contacting your local customs office directly.
